At the Worthy School of Austin we plan on embracing the students’ dyslexia as a condition that will bring about creative thinking. Each student will own a laptop equipped with writing and reading software, which will give them the freedom to excel without constantly being penalized for their difficulties in reading and spelling.  In addition, the teachers at the Worthy School of Austin will be trained in the use of meta-cognitive strategies, the use of mnemonics clues, and many other teaching techniques that have been proven to benefit learners with dyslexia.
